Female Fertility Blood Test

Whether you’re thinking of trying for a baby or are struggling to conceive, we’re here to help with our fertility test. Designed to give you the answers you need to better understand your reproductive health. This finger prick test can be done in the comfort of your own home. Our UKAS accredited lab will analyse your sample and a doctor will review your results, providing advice on any markers that are out of range.

When do I take the test?

This test should be taken on day 3 of your menstrual cycle (day 1 being the first day of your period). If you are not having a period, it can be taken at any time.

What gets tested?

  • Anti-Mullerian Hormone
  • Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH)
  • Luteinising Hormone (LH)
  • Prolactin
  • Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
  • Thyroxine (T4 free direct)
  • Triiodothyronine (T3 free)

Additional biomarkers can be added by personalizing this test.

What are biomarkers?

Biomarkers are specific compounds we can detect in your blood sample that reflect different things about your health. Your test will tell you about your levels for each of the above biomarkers, and whether they are in a normal range.

How can a fertility blood test help?

If you’re planning to start a family or are struggling to conceive, a fertility blood test can help you understand why. It checks key hormones related to fertility and your ovarian reserve (the number of healthy, immature eggs in the ovaries), which can help you figure out why you’re struggling to get pregnant or help you plan for the future. For a more in-depth view, you can use our innovative hormone mapping product, MyFORM.

How do fertility tests work?

Our at-home fertility blood test for women involves collecting a small blood sample via a finger prick, which is then sent to a lab for analysis. This test measures FSH, LH, AMH, prolactin, TSH, T3, and T4, which provides insights into reproductive health. It’s a quick, convenient, and affordable way to check and monitor your fertility.

Once you’ve collected your blood sample and sent it back to our lab free of charge, it takes up to 2 working days to get your results once your sample has arrived at our lab. You’ll get a report showing your hormone levels and where they sit within the optimal range for your age, as well as comments and advice from our team of expert doctors, so you can confidently take the next steps to starting a family.

How to test your fertility at home?

Our at-home fertility blood test for women makes it quick, easy, and convenient to understand your fertility.
